Which section is to start at first in SSC CGL 2020?

 

SSC CGL consists of 4 sections. 

• Quantitative
• Reasoning
• English
• General Knowledge

Start with that section you are strong and confident at most. I would suggest start with the section which is less time consuming, like GK. 

But never start with quantitative.

How many days later does an SBI clerk join a bank after selection?

 The whole process takes 1year. So you can consider if you are selected, Your joining would be between 2 to 6 months.

Do you need to know mental maths to score in the SSC CGL?

 Knowing Vedic maths is always helpful even in our day to day life. Not only SSC CGL but bank PO , railway or any other govt exam quantitative section is there. In the examination hall, we have less time and many questions need to be attended. So if you know the quick calculation of percentage, addition , subtraction, multiplication,  square till 50 and cube till 30 would be beneficial for you to solve math in a short time. For these you need to practice daily at least for 2hrs only in math.

Clear the basic idea of any particular topic in math then do only practice, to get through in any exam.

I have some backlogs on my degree. Does it affect the document verification of the SSC CGL?

 It would if you have mentioned it while filling up the form. If you have a backlog in graduation level, clear it before the tier-2 exam, else at the interview you will be disqualified.

Read each chapter thoroughly and English newspaper daily. Learn at least 5 -10 new words every day and try to make a sentence with it as well as Don't forget to revise on consecutive day.
